Ohio Stadium - The Shoe: Black Pen Drawing

This artwork depicts an elevated exterior view of Ohio Stadium, famously known as "The Shoe," rendered entirely in black ink. The massive horseshoe-shaped structure, featuring its iconic rotunda and arched entryways, is constructed using a complex, dense network of continuous, overlapping lines. Heavy, concentrated ink layering creates deep, solid dark areas across the trees in the foreground, within the deep shadows of the arches, and across the interior seating sections. In contrast, looser, more dispersed scribbling allows the stark white of the page to show through, forming bright, natural highlights on the broad curved exterior walls, the roofline, and the lighter background elements. This purely line-based, high-contrast technique gives the monumental sports venue a dynamic, highly textured appearance against the blank background
